Seriously, the OMR Roads or now re-named as Rajiv Gandhi( i guess am right) is really getting awful each day.
All the tar roads have turned into muddy roads and when vehicles happen to pass-by, the mud spreads in the air like smoke which makes us to close the windows, coz we find it difficult to breathe. haha some gals cover their heads with their duppatas & guys with hanky like terrorists.
After coming to coll, if i wipe my face with handkerchief Yuck! it would be fully black in color. Sometimes the dust particles enters my mouth too. It also spoils my hair texture coz of this dust, it makes my hair texture harder.
And funny part is, all coll & company buses try to overtake each one which makes the problem even more worse. No idea when this govt are going to take steps to ameliorate these roads.

Yeah, absolutely no doubt about that "Hellcome here". Makes my travel even more annoying, already am pissed off boarding the bus at 6:50 in my stop.
even i also face this problems. but onething which i feel for u is the boarding time. very pavam.. i will be a terrorist in that roads ...
Hey, The rejuvenation process is on going and very soon we will have a Toll plaza in our I.T Highway, Oops.. Rajiv Gandhi Highway. You don`t expect all these work to be done in a jiffy, After all its Government. If we ban Jeppair trust buses we could possibly avoid 50 % of the sand storm. :)
haha, your right Jeppiar buses are too fast, those drivers ride the bus as if they are in some race.

The OMR stretch between Sholinganallur and Thorraipakkam is pretty good, and there are only a couple of isolated patches of construction work areas from then on till Thiruvanmiyur.
But yes, one does wish the govt. will do something to "ameliorate" these problems.

I heard that the contract has now shifted from AZRB to L&T . You might notice the work getting faster than before.Mostly it would get over within dec 2008.
