OMR Roads are SURLY....

Seriously, the OMR Roads or now re-named as Rajiv Gandhi( i guess am right) is really getting awful each day.
All the tar roads have turned into muddy roads and when vehicles happen to pass-by, the mud spreads in the air like smoke which makes us to close the windows, coz we find it difficult to breathe. haha some gals cover their heads with their duppatas & guys with hanky like terrorists.

After coming to coll, if i wipe my face with handkerchief Yuck! it would be fully black in color. Sometimes the dust particles enters my mouth too. It also spoils my hair texture coz of this dust, it makes my hair texture harder.

And funny part is, all coll & company buses try to overtake each one which makes the problem even more worse. No idea when this govt are going to take steps to ameliorate these roads.

Mobblolgging

What or how to say? Technology improving or we ppl getting lazy nowadays. When i happen to see this add for first time, i thought that would be for an e-mail like AOL. But as i was carefully watching it, came to know at the end it was all about mobblogging. Then i was thinking will this work out? coz typing a small text message in my mobile i find it really annoying nowadays, then how about a BLOG(hmm... that's food for thought).

The song in the add is actually a CHORUS ,i learn't in my sunday school. It goes like

After long days, we planned to freak out today. so thought of going to Spencer's, i too started from my house by mtc. Somehow reached the place, while i was about to enter the mall. My dad called

Me: oh no, why is he calling? anyhow attended the call.
My Dad: Rachel, i saw flash news that bombs have been kept in Spencer's, citi center & almost in every mall it seems.

Me: My reaction as usual. oh...is that so?
My Dad: So you people avoid going inside the mall & eat somewhere outside, okay.

Me: Okay pa, we'll.


Line went dead. Me thinking what to do now, i just thought if my fate is , have
to die like that no one can do anything.

Went inside the mall, ate first( was really hungry) & was waiting for other ppl. Then after little roaming went to eat my lunch( around 3), had good lunch & started roaming inside Landmark. Searched for my favorite place( books, i meant novels not C or C++). Then got The Cowboy's Christmas Proposal novel( the price was 99bucks, so no other go i had to buy that only, coz i had only less money ). At last reached home around 7.

Quite weird

On-campus in our collage is quite weird right. Hey people don't raise your hopes, it's jus the BPO which we were asked to attend in GKM coll on 21st of this month. So it's going to be in our coll on 22nd of this month. No idea about name of the BPO. But i heard the criteria is any no of arrears( obviously coz it's just a BPO).

It's has taken nearly 2yrs for these ppl to bring on-campus though it's a BPO, then how about other S/W companies? i guess it will take decades.

Now every Indians will soon have his own mobile phone for just rs 777 and with best features like FM radio, polyphonic ringtones , address book and many more . These mobiles will be sim based and model name is “Classic 202”.

They will launch two more models Classic 204 and Classic 203 and their cost would be like Rs 844 and Rs 888 . These phones will be SIM-enabled which will allow customers to move from one cdma service to another without any problem . This offer will also run like previous one offers first come first serve basis till the stock ends .

Now i think this may harm second hand mobile sellers because now everyone would like to buy a new mobile for rs 777 with radio facility enabled rather than second hand mobile .

Really awful

Plastic bags instead of surgical gloves. This is the situation in the West Bengal Health department which now stares at a suspected outbreak of avian flu in parts of Birbhum.Fifty Health department workers sent to the affected areas have been told to slip on plastic packets on their hands and fasten it with rubber bands since the department cannot provide sterile gloves.Hospitals in the affected areas do not have isolation wards or quarantine zones.Moreover only 12 gowns for 50 health workers, no protective masks, no goggles ,yet to setup a laboratory to test for avian flu.

How are the peoples residing in these areas gonna be protected ? Really pathetic.

The new world of BLOGS

I was jus switching the channels in my television, suddenly i happen to come across this topic, i don't remember whether it was NDTV or CNN-IBN. so i was watching to check what was it all about? it was actually a DEBATE about whether having blogs is a good or waste of time.The statement given by a woman

She said," Blogging is waste of time, only people who don't have any work keep blogging.

I really don't know why she made such a statement.

Comedy.......

Hey, guys listen to this comedy. we're going to have Parent Teacher Association meeting on sunday(20-1-08) in our coll it seems. isn't that hilarious?

They have sent a letter to my house regarding the meeting, obvious you ppl also would have got it. I was jus laughing like anything, coz our coll trying to do something like this which wouldn't work a bit.

Seriously waste of time for our parents, coz our coll is not going to listen to any suggestions given by the parents. otherwise they jus act as if going to implement it. I told my parents jus go ahead with your routine work other than going to coll & wasting your time.

Big hike.......

Why the hell these ppl need hike in their salaries. These are some of reasons why still our country is developing nation or will become under developed soon coz of hikes like this.

President- Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh

Vice-president- Rs 85,000 per month against the present Rs 40,000

Governors - raised from Rs 36,000 a month to Rs 75,000.
Why don't our govt invest these money in some useful way( that would help society a lot).

Allied Computers to launch laptops for Rs 15,000

I think in few more years, we'll able to get PC's & laptop's in grocery shop itself( who knows it may happen soon also). A research based laptop manufacturing company, is all set to launch its first full featured laptop worth Rs 14,999/- in the country soon,
will be introduced in the market by the first quarter of 2008.But these laptops will have only the basic office suite & internet capabilities. The higher version will cost 22,000 it seems.

The company( Allied Computers) also plans to launch LCDs and Plasma television in the first quarter of 2008. A 32-inch LCD televisions would be available for as low as Rs 24, 999.The company hopes to sell 50,000 units in the first year and is targeting a turnover of Rs 150 crore from the television division in 2008-09.
